The military-political leadership of the aggressor Armenia continues to commit acts of terrorism against the civilian population of Azerbaijan, grossly violating the norms and principles of international law.

On 4th of October, 2020, Armenian Armed Forces attacked the second biggest city of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ganja, with missile rockets. During today’s indiscriminate attacks, civilians were killed and wounded, and many civilian objects were damaged. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan since September 27th, 22 civilians were killed and 74 were wounded as a result of the Armenian military aggression.

Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union strongly condemn the terroristic and barbarian actions of the Armenia and demand immediate and unconditional withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from all occupied territories, including Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, as required by the UN Security Council resolutions 822, 853, 874, 884. We urge international organizations to give adequate legal and political assessment to Armenia’s war crimes against civilian population of Azerbaijan.

Withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from all occupied territories of Azerbaijan is the only way to reestablish long-overdue peace in the region.
